Recently, I successfully jailbroke my Kindle. I followed the Kindle Modding Wiki, which perfectly describes the steps to gain full control over our Kindle.

Originally, I was going to write a post explaining this process, but I think it’s a bit pointless. First, because it’s already exceptionally explained on the aforementioned website, and second, and more importantly, the page is updated based on new exploits found for successfully jailbreaking a Kindle.

Even though I’m not explaining the process here, I highly recommend doing it. In my case, it has been essential because now I can use formats that the Kindle doesn’t natively support, like the .cbz format, which is very popular in mangas and comics. Additionally, it allows for downloading community-created tools that help customize the Kindle to suit the user’s needs, rather than forcing the user to adapt to the device.

But all of this gave me the idea to create a new main section on my website for recommending books, so I can share those books, comics, mangas… that I’ve found interesting and that might also be interesting for you.

This new section will be updated whenever I find new readings that I believe have a positive impact on the reader, not only technical readings but also very recommendable ones for their recreational value.
